About Us

The Brentwood Museum society was founded in 1977 and acquired its present building in Lorne Road cemetery in 1985.  We opened to the public in 1989 and since then have continued to open regularly during the summer months.

Education & Group Visits

We provide group visits on demand.  These visits allow us to focus on a particular aspect of the museum or Brentwood history that's of interest to your group and provides a chance to explore the museum.

Become a member of the Brentwood Museum Society and enjoy free historical talks and other events including a summer party and Christmas festivities.  Membership is just £24 per year.
